I am new to Garmin and have created a course using a round trip on the connect website but when I tried to follow the course it kept telling me to essentially turn around and go back to the start but it only did this when I was a few miles in (it was a 25 mile round trip). I tried restarting the device and the course and each time it asked me if I wanted to navigate to the start of the course, I said no as I wanted to pick up the route from where I was but it then wouldn't give me any directions at all... I had to revert to using google maps which defeats the purpose of the device. I am assuming this is just user error on my part but any help would be appreciated.
