Hello Everybody, since nearly half an year I got no Bike VO2max measurments and no Training condition. It stoped suddenly and I have nor Idea why. Its a very disappointing situation for Training and preparing races. Has anybody an Idea what to do?

Hi, have you got power meter, and is it registering power during your rides, i.e do you see power values/charts in your recorded rides ? And what about heartrate, same question.
These are 2 key sensors needed for training status and VO2max calculations.
Yes of course. I'm using both for years and it worked fine for years. But form some reason, I got no results since last August
Ok, let's check this further - are you getting some of your rides in HR Zone 3-4, like below?
Also it would be helpful if you could share some pictures of Teaining Status screen from your Edge device, how does it look like?
Ok thanks. Here I see the root cause - Edge sees all your trainings are in Zone 1&2. But in order to be able to calculate VO2max, your training needs to include Zone 3, for at least 15 mins in total per ride. Such is the algorytm in Edge. Then, based on VO2max, or rather I say "Performance condition" measured in such kind of a ride (it has also its geaph in post-ride report in Garmin Connect), Edge will estimate your Training Status (as Productive, Maintainig, or Unoroductive).
However, before you start hitting HR Zone 3 I suggest you make sure your currenr HR Zones are not too much off (200 bpm looks very off to me, unless you're 20yr old, or a professoonal competitive athlete). It you suspect it might be off, try setting your Max HR manually on device as 220-minus-age, for a start, and then turn Max HR auto-detection ON, so that Edge can auto-adjust it during your Zone 3-4 rides based on internal HR metrics it gets from your pulse.
I hope explsnations are cjear, but please feel free to ask just in case.
Cheers!
thank you so much Dennis! It sounds great. I hope this solve the Problem with Bike VO2max. I can't remember if I changed this settings.
But maybe you can also help me with next Problem: My Venu measures VO2max without doing sports and without using a Powermeter, for example while sitting the whole day in an Office or a train. I don't understand this.
Do you have an Idea what to do?
I'm not familiar with Venu (I'm using Fenix 6), but I guess it may just keep showing you the last-known value from some earlier trainings (last year) you did with Edge when it was registering your VO2max.
The watch may get this value from Edge via Garmin Connect, even if it's not measuring it directly.
Besides that, my Fenix itself is able to calculate VO2max from a running activity (in Zone 3 at least) based on its built-in running power calculation algorithm, i e it doesn't need an external power meter for running.
