Garming edge 540 - 3D orientation Map

Hi,

I recently bought a Garming Edge 540, upgraded from Garming Edge 530, and I tried to configure the map orientation in 3D, but it doesn't appear as an option.

Does anyone know why?

    "3D" map orientation was removed along with other "enhancements", quite a while ago on the 1040, might never have been on the 840/540 at all. It caused some issues, with rendering the map chevrons I seem to recall,  so rather than fixing the "issues" Garmin just removed the feature! I never used it a lot but it was useful at times. Gone the same way as the "smart" recording interval.
