Usual pause time issues in new firmware

Hi,


I am seeing unusual Strava results related to group rides and the Garmin 540 pause key.  This seems to have appeared in 24.18 or 24.19.

if I ride with a group and never touch the pause key, everything is okay. I will see the other riders in my Strava activity.  That is good.

if I ride with a group and pause my ride during a rest stop and unpause when the group ride starts back. Strava Fly-By shows me leaving the rest stop earlier than the rest of the group.  More pauses, the more ahead of the group that I appear on fly-by. Obviously, here I will not see the other riders in my Strava activity.  That is not good.

I have always paused my ride and pulled my Garmin off the bike. That way it can’t walk away while I’m in the store. This is a new behavior.

any ideas?

    I saw another post mentioning an important detail of my use case.  The computer is going to sleep during the pause.  Sounds like this is causing a time issue when the computer is brought back life.  Apparently this was a known bug during the beta!?!?
