Garmin 540 AXS Battery and Gear Compatibility?

Is the Gears Display Data Field compatible with Sram AXS battery and gear? I have it set up, but it won't show the battery status nor gear. Are these data fields for Shimano Di only?

They work with ANT+ compliant shifting system such as SRAM. I assume the unit is successful paired to the SRAM system?

Yep, that was the missing piece. Following this video to set it up. Now I see the battery and gear status.
