Sensors connection drop after sleep

Currently on v21.18, I noticed few times after coffee pause when I wake up the device from sleep and start pedaling, after a few minutes all sensor connections are being dropped - that includes Assioma Duo pedals (ANT+), Speed sensor (BLE), Polar H10 HR strap (ANT+). Manual connect does not work and the only thing that resolved the issue is complete reboot, which is very bad fix in this case. Does anyone else have this issue? It only happens sometimes and it is strange that it happens few minutes after I resume the ride, which means it works fine immediately after the resuming the ride, but all sensor connections are dropped after a few minutes.

I have the same issue. Horrible, Garmin is testing the patience of its customers.

I've experienced this in between rides (I just let the unit sleep instead of fully turning it off), but luckily never mid ride. As OP said, a device reboot mitigates the symptoms.

Same here, recently purchased Explore 2, all sensors dropped after the device wake up from sleep and only way to reconnect is power off and on. Hopefully there’s a fix soon.

It wasnt fixed for months, I believe they just can't because its a hardware problem.

I also had this issue a couple weeks ago. I was able to reconnect them by turning off the screen and turning it on again while I was riding. Edge 540 - v24.19

I've escalated this report for investigation and we'd like to collect more info. If you are experiencing some sensors failing to reconnect after the Edge resumes from sleep, please reply with your consent for Garmin to reach out to you via email.

Rebooting the Edge will reset all sensor connections, but I do not have a fix or workaround at this time for resuming an activity from sleep.

For the Edge Explore 2, this should be fixed with the release of software version 24.12. The current live version is 24.55.
These updates contain changes to prevent wireless sensors from failing to reconnect after resuming from sleep.

If any other users are experiencing similar behavior with sensors not reconnecting after sleep on Edge x40 or Edge 1050, please let me know, as we are looking to gather more info.
