I have a problem to set up the "Lap Summary" page on my garmin 540.... I would like to change the avg speed to avg power but I cannot find the way to edit that part of the screen...
A few minutes later a find the solution.... 
You simply have to choose the data screen and edit the data type... here is some picture:
