EDGE 540 - Last map version

HI all

I had an issue to update my EDGE 540 to update the map so I sent it to the garmin.

Garmin repaired it and after that they sent back to me.

Today i received it and connecting it to garmin express I noticed this map version

I guess the 2024.10 i released but checking the updates no update seems available.

Have you the same experience or you have on MAP DETAILS the 2024.10 version?

    btw I tried to do a downgrade of Garmin express

    but nothing changed-

    Yor unit definitely has map version 2024.10 on it.

    You can check that in two ways.

    Go to 

    Activity Profiles -> Name of profile -> Navigation -> Maps -> Map Information

    or check the GarminDevice.XML for the following EU Central region map data

    <UpdateFile>

            <PartNumber>006-D9495-04</PartNumber>

            <Version>

              <Major>24</Major>

              <Minor>10</Minor>

            </Version>

            <Path>Garmin</Path>

            <FileName>D9495040A.img</FileName>

          </UpdateFile>

    FILIPPO71 do you have some update about it?

    After almost 1 month I downloaded and re-installed again Garmin Express, but the bug still persists.

    I have the same problem, I also notice that there are more maps on the navigator:

    Garmin Cycle Map EU 2024.10, Central
    Garmin DEM Map EU 2023.10
    Worldwide DEM Basemap, NR v8
    Garmin ClimbPro EU Central 2024.10
    and again
    Garmin ClimbPro EU Central 2024.10

    I encountered the same bug today. I deleted the files manually on my 540 and installed the 2024.10 map of western Europe via Garmin Express->manage maps. When I check on the unit, I have this last version installed. But Express still think I am on 2022.11 (and it never showed 2024.10 for me, even just after the installation without unplugging it).

    So it will not notify me if new updates are available. I am on the last 540 firmware version (24.19) and Garmin Express on windows 10 v7.23.0.0.
