Garmin 540 courses

I have a round-trip GPX-file route loaded on my 540. Will my Garmin track the route if I follow the route but start and end at different places than shown on the file?

You should be able to start anywhere along the route and be guided back to the original finish but the course would then need to be reloaded to continue. Don’t use the Navigate to Start option, disable route recalculation and don’t stop recording your ride until you have really finished.

It’s not really any different to rejoining the course after going off it.
