Climb Pro no longer detecting climbs

Has anyone else had any issues with Climb Pro on their 540 no longer detecting climbs? Mine no longer detects climbs either in free mode or when following routes.

I bought the unit new in Aug of this year (2023), and out of the box it detected climbs no problem. Even after setting up my activity profiles.

Since the beginning of Sep it no longer detects climbs, not anywhere, even in spots where it detected climbs in Aug.

I've checked that all of my activity profiles have climb detection turned on for all climbs.

The only thing I can think of is that a firmware update has caused this...? However, when I go back and check my activities, it doesn't seem to align perfectly with where I updated firmware from 9.29 (what it came with when I bought it) to when18.23 or 18.25. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Have you changed any maps on the unit?

Yes, I put the trailforks map on through connect IQ

Check that the cycling and DEM maps are still enabled.

Looks like I have DEM and two cycing maps enabled on the unit (Middle America, and Canada/Alaska). However, below those in the menu, I see 3 separate ClimbPro NA maps (Canada/Alaska, Middle America, and US). They do not say enabled or disabled, and I cannot access them to change their status. All are 2023.10 versions.

They are enabled if they are on the unit.

Check to see what the difficulty level is for climb detection.

Menu -> Activity Profiles -> name of profile to check -> Climbs -> Climb Detectiion

I have it set to detect all climbs

Unfortunately not. I still can’t get any climb pro detection. The maps on my device show the climb icon where I know climbs exist. But no detection and switching to the climb pro screen like it did when I first set the device up.
