Edge 540 downloaded the newest firmware and is now stuck in the reboot loop

Hello,

My 540 was prompted to install the new software. I accepted and now it is stuck in the reboot loop. I can force it into mass storage mode but there is nothing in the NewFiles folder. What do I do?

Look in the Garmin folder for gupdate.gcd and delete that if it is there.

Thank you. I ended up contacting support who had me delete folders in the garmin. I deleted these folders: Courses, NewFiles, RemoteSW, and one other, I think it was the Segments folder. When I closed the chat, I lost the instructions. I was intending to paste them here for others to reference. I have requested the chat log, and if I receive it, I will update this with the fix. This solved my problem and the reboot loop stopped.
