How to remove virtual partner from my navigation screen?

I do not want to see the vp bar in my navigation screen. It takes up space, I do't use it, I dont want to use it, I dont want to see it. Strange thing is that the vp is not visable in my MTB profile but it is in my gravel and road profile. Settings are identical in all three profiles. Any suggestions?

What vp bar in the navigation screen? I have never seen one and I use the VP in almost every ride I do, its a very useful fearture if you know how to use it correctly. The 530 is a training device primarily, not a navigation device.

If you do not want training features, then you should have bought a navigation device like an Etrex,

I think you might be refereeing to the elevation profile that can be shown on the map page when navigating. This is a configurable option. Go to the activity profile you are using, then data screens, then the map screen. There is an option there to show elevation when navigating. Toggle that off.

Thx for thinking along. It definately is the virtual partner. It shows at the bottom of the map screen even when I have switched the vp option of in the menu (where you can select the screens that you can scroll through per activity profile). I now set the vp speed at o km/hr or at 1.000km/hr but it stays visable on the map screen (except when in mtb mode for some strange reason)
