Garmin devices having speed drop outs on indoor training

Both my garmin forerunner 945 and garmin edge 530 are having speed drop outs every 5 secs when connected to my indoor trainer. I have contacted wahoo and they investigated and found nothing wrong with the wahoo system. My garmin pedals used to work with my garmin watch previously but is now only starting to do this. Does anyone know what ahs happened in the past 3 months?

something is interferencing with the ANT+ signals in your room. could be: the wifi is running on wrong channel in the router (avoid "auto" or 10-11 channels, set it manually to 1 or any low number). could be any BT devices what you use indoor during the workout (BT headphone, BT speaker, etc), switch off everything and test.
