Garmin Edge 530 keeps trying to update GPS Firmware

Here are the versions on my Edge 530

Software Version 9.75

GPS Version 0.00

WLAN Version 2.10

Connect IQ Version 3.3.6

EPO: Missing

I was riding and suddenly got a lost satellites message.   After that ride, the device won't find satellites any longer.  However, every couple minutes or so, it says it is updating firmware.  I event a firmware updated message.  But the firmware does not seem to be updated and the device will not find satellites.  

I've done a hard reset (saved user data) and set up the Edge device again, but it still keeps doing the updates and not finding satellites.  

I've re-installed Garmin Express (on Mac) with the latest version and synced the device there.  Still no luck.

I've synced with the Connect app on iPhone.  No luck.

I've also connected the Edge 530 to my Mac and gone in the Garmin folder and removed: device.fit, GarminDevice.xml and the folder remoteSW in case there was a corrupt file.  When rebooting the device, those files and folder are replaced (presumably with good versions).  The Device still does not find satellites.

Any ideas?  Thanks!
