It appears my Edge 503 battery has gone kaput. It won't turn on and I can't charge it.
Are there instructions on replacing it or does it need to be returned to Garmin?
Thanks,
Wade

Garmin does not replace batteries. They will exchange the Edge for a refurbished unit. Replacement batteries are available but I don't know how difficult it is to install.
Have you tried holding down the power button for over 30 seconds. Try this not connected to a power source and also connected to a power source. Have you tried other cables? They sometimes go bad.
As Cheracogoff has suggested, try the reset process etc first.
Having a look at this video will give you an idea of what is involved in opening up the case if you want to attempt a DIY replacement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQAlbNVrMO8
