Virtual partner time error while riding a course

I realize that the Edge 520 forum has been archived, but I wonder whether the Edge 530 situation is similar.

When riding a course which includes occasional stops (e.g. at traffic lights), the Edge 520 may show that I'm several minutes ahead, even when my moving time is, in fact, slower than that of the course.

Note: 

  1. Auto Pause is set to "When Stopped"

  2. The problem only arises when the course includes stops

Is there a way to make the course only respond to Moving Time?
