Thanks for reaching out!
If the power meter sensor is broadcasting a signal and is not already paired, the Edge should detect it within a few seconds. If you are waiting more than 30 seconds and the Edge does not detect a sensor, waiting will likely not make a difference.
SloMTBR's link has some helpful info about Favero settings to check
I would also check out the guide here:How to Pair Sensors to an Edge 530
Hi, I tried many times, it is still not connecting. My power meter works perfectly fine. I am able to connect it with my trainer.
But when I want to connect it with my Garmin Edge 530, I don't know why my Garmin takes so long and at the end it is not connected. I have reset my Garmin Edge few times, but it seems something wrong, which I don't know what
Most smart trainers are a power meter themselves and would not be able to "pair" with another power meter. But if your pedals are able to connect to something, we should also be able to connect them to the Edge 530.
It sounds like you may be getting to the last step of pairing, where the Edge displays available sensors and asks to confirm. A small wheel icon will spin in the upper right corner until Add Sensors is selected/confirmed.
Yes, the power meter is listed and after clicking the box, the wheel icon started to spinning and after waiting for such a long time, until the Garmin is going to Sleep mode, the power mode was not added. So frustrating waiting but ended up nothing :-(
And I did that few times already, until I gave up..
I want to ride my bike outdoor, and I want my Garmin to connect with my power meter.
After the Edge detects the power meter and displays its name, you must first select the sensor (check the box) and then scroll up and select Add Sensors again (as in the screenshot above). It sounds like you are seeing the power meter detected but not selecting the last step Add Sensor
.
If you are not seeing the power meter detected by the Edge and I'd refer you to Favero to troubleshoot the pedals.

Hi thanks for the support. I deleted the Favero Assioma duo power meter from my mobile, and install it again. And then tried to connect it to my Garmin Edge 530, add the sensor as you guided above. Finally it get connected.. fuiih..
Once again, thank you so much.
