New 530 won't pair with phone

Hi All!

We've received a new 530 unit from Garmin as a replacement to the previous one of my GF (failed due to water) and couldn't pair it with iPhone.

Garmin connect is the latest version, running on iOS 18.1 iPhone 13 Pro, when trying to add the device sometimes (really not always) it appears in the pop-up window,

asks to confirm the BT pairing code but never goes to the next step, falling into an error and proposing to retry.

Tryied to reset the device with no success - any idea what else can I do with it?
