Group track instructions

Hi, Both me and my partner have an Edge 530 for cycling. But there's no way we can make the Group track feature to work on our devices. I've followed the steps listed on the user's manual but we still can't see each other on the map. 

Can someone help me here? Thanks

    I've never used Group Track, but I'm curious of it.  Hopefully someone can help @pam and I'll learn something in the process as well.

    En primer lugar, tú y tu compañero debéis ser "amigos"·(conexiones) en la app de Garmin connect

    Además, en la APP "Connect" en el smartphone deben estar activadas las dos opciones (mostrar el trayecto e inicio automático). Esto se activa en  "Seguridad - seguimiento" - "Livetrack".

    Y por supuesto llevar el smartphone encima y conectado mediante bluetooth con el dispositivo Garmin 

    Yo lo tengo configurado así y funciona perfectamente
