Problems with connection to iPhone 15

Hi,

my edge 530 crashed and I had to reset it.

Now I tried to re-connect it with Connect on my iPhone 15 (iOS 18.0.1). Added a new device, linked I via blutooth, approved the code.

Then I click start syncing. At this point the Edge restarts and the phone shows an error "The connection to the Garmin Servers is not possible...."

If I try to finnish lthe setup later the Edge cannot be connected vie bluetooth anymore. I have to remove the device from connect and start again.

Everything works fine until I start to sync, then the automatic restart and afterwards it cannot be connected anymore.

I also tried a factory reset on the Edge, but that doesn't help.

Any Ideas?

For the record:
I solved it after a few more retries.
The point that made it work is to "not allow" notifications during setup. If asked choose "don't allow"
After the setup is finished, close Connect and restart the Edge.
Then activate the notifications.

If allow notifications during the setup, everything crashes and the BT connect doesn't work anymore.

Why?: I guess black magic, voodoo ...who knows
