530 not sending notifications at ride end???

My venerable 530 died a death and those nice boys at Garmin replaced it with a brand new one at minimal cost to me. Excellent.

New unit works fine and all settings, as far as I can tell, are the same as the old unit.

When I complete my ride and save the data this uploads to Garmin Connect and to RWGPS. Fine. But I no longer get a notification on my phone that the files have been uploaded. I have to started checking both sites to make sure the data has been transferred.

What am I doing wrong? 530 talks to my phone via bluetooth just as normal.Phone is set to accept notifications from Connect and RWGPS but somehow these are not being sent or recognised.

Any clues as to how I can get this sorted?

Try to toggle on this setting. I personally keep it disabled because it annoys me.

Go to Connect App on your phone, three dots down in the right, then to Settings, Notifications, Push Notifications.

Thanks. Those settings have already been made. Just been out and it still doesn't work.
