Garmin Edge 520 microUSB connector

Hello everyone.

I have recently bought a second-hand Garmin Edge 520. I have installed Garmin Express on my laptop but my pc cannot see it. Do I have to use a specific Garmin connector or should any micro USB cable work? Anyone I have tried will charge the Garmin but Express cannot see the device. Any ideas?

The cables your using may be "Power" only, you would need a "Data and Power" cable. I know this from experience when I have the same problem and accidently used a wrong cable which is for just recharging my lights etc.
