Timer / elapsed time on Edge 530 is incorrect.

Hi,

timer / elapsed time on Edge 530 runs way faster than on my Fenix. E.g. Fenix records 2 hrs, which is correct given the time of day at start/end of the activity, while Edge 530 tells me the ride took 3.5 hrs. Have bought a refurbed unit from Garmin directly.

Anyone a solution? Any tips highly appreciated!

Hi. Thanks for the links and reply. I’ve seen most of it already but to me it seems like it is something else. I noticed that the seconds are counted way quicker than on any other watch. Might be a problem with the "clock“?

yes, probably the inner "quarz" clock has an issue. but you can make a video about the 2 units next to each other and upload here . did you try already reboot the edge (long press and hold the power button for ~20-30sec, until it reboots by itself
