Di2 Synchro Shifting reverts to manual mode when Edge 530 is connected

I always ride with Di2 Synchro Shifting selected. However mid ride it reverts to manual mode. This only seems to happen when Di2 is enabled on the Edge 530.

This is a really annoying bug, am I the only one seeing this?

What value is the 530 set to? The Edge will update the Di2 system based on the value set on the Edge.

S1 or S2 but it reverts to M by itself

That is very strange. Does it only do it if you ride with the Edge 530. If you were to do a ride without the 530 does it still happen. I'm wondering if there is lose or damaged wire in the Di2 system that is causing a reset.

Went for a ride today with my old Edge 520 and the system performed perfectly which leads me to think theres a problem with the 530. I will do a factory reset on it and see what happens.
