Could you please insert a feature on waypoint for cycling? Label them as mandatory or not.
If I create a route and want it to use cycling path I use the heatmap and drag the route on it.
This creates a waypoint. Now sometimes it is not possible to use it (work on the route, missed turn...).
At the moment Garmin is sending you back to the waypoint... which on yesterdays ride meant going from a 91.8 to a 123 km ride.
If you could create all waypoint as not mandatory per default and leave the opportunity to tag the few ones that are, it would solve this problem (and a lot of swearing from users).
The edge could just recalculate the route towards the next waypoint / or mandatory waypoint.
