Automatic assignment of the correct bike in the Garmin Connect app.

Hello Garmin friends,

I have 3 bikes stored in my Garmin Edge 530 and have to assign the bike ride to the correct bike each time in Garmin Connect.

Is there a way to make this work automatically?

    Nope. This has always been an annoying lack of functionality. You would think that Garmin Connect should be able to automatically assign gear based on activity profile and/or connected sensors. But they never did it.

    I hate this every single day when I have to manually unassign different equipment because I used my e-bike and not my MTB. Strava assigns my 2 different bikes properly.
