How to navigate to a saved location during a ride?

Recently bought myself a Edge 530 and this morning I tried to navigate to a saved location during a ride. But the only option i could find is navigate back to start or load a course.

Navigating to a saved location prior to starting a ride works fine but it would be nice if I could navigate to a location when I'm lost during a free ride.

Is this possible?

    Yes, recording activities and navigating are independent items, so whilst an activity is in progress, press the back key to return to the main screen, then select Menu>Navigation etc to choose navigate to a saved location as you did before.

    As PeterK_55 says....but without going back to the "Menu>Navigation, another way, go to the map page, and whilst the "3 Bars" are showing top right of the screen, press the top right button, select "Navigation" and then choose "Saved Locations".

    This will work if your riding a course or not. But, if you have to trawl through a lot of pages to get to the map page, then Peters method is faster, if you are using the "remote" or just one page away from the map page, the second method is faster.

    And if I recall, there also is a third way to get to the Navigation" page I once came across.

    Both PeterK_55 ans leginswal thanks for your detailed answers! Now I understand how the 530 works. Still have to get used to the fact that navigation and recording a ride run next to eachother independently. I have used an Edge 25 and 130 for many years so this is new for me.
