But as far as I remember about a year ago (older firmware version) when Edgo 530 received the gpx track from my mobile phone it automatically displayed it and I could navigate. Ane I heard a "beep" after downloading. Now I have to open the track manually as described in the link above and hear no beep.
I use this functionality rarely, mainly because when you want to navigate to a specific location you cannot type destination address in Edge 530 (and for example 830 has such a feature). But it is possible in mobile navi apps
