Edge 530 Fails to Reconnect to Sensors after Sleep Mode

My Edge 530 often fails to reconnect to sensors when it wakes up from Sleep mode. I usually put the 530 into Sleep mode when making a coffee/lunch stop. I usually have to remove and then re-pair the sensor to get it to connect. Does anyone have a fix for this annoying problem? I have the 9.75 firmware.

I think it's a common problem that has been mentioned in the past.

I never use sleep mode but I discovered mine does it when I tried using it whilst having a rest in controls on Paris Brest Paris this year.

My solution was to just go into "Sensors", find the ones that had not connected on waking device up and just "Connect" without having to re-pair device. Just using "Connect" was instantaneous and it was usually just speed/cadence that needed reconnecting as my heart rate strap was worn all time and my 530 would be with me whilst my bike was out of sensor range so connection was broke.
