Connecting him-dual to edge 530

Just acquired a HRM-Dual.

It paired with my Forerunner 935 no problems. Also with Trainerroad no problems.

When attempting to pair with my Edge 530, the 530 could see my HRM but when I clicked on it, couldn’t seem to finalise the connection (little wheel in top RH corner keeps going around but that’s it). I wetted the electrodes etc.

What gives?

Also - when trying to add the HRM to Garmin connect on my iPhone, it didnt even recognise HRM-Dual as a sensor. Lols.

Were you trying to pair via Bluetooth or ANT+? Try pairing with the other other connection type.

Same issue with my 530 and HRM dual strap

Aha, I found an answer elsewhere in this forum. Once you check the box for the hrm strap you want to add you have to go up to 'Add Sensor' and click button.

So illogical but it works, I'll never get back the past two hours trying to work this out.. haha
