I have a 530 paired with the UT800 and the Varia RTL515. I have the devices configured to full auto and starting when timer starts. During daylight, the front light flashes. Last year during nighttime, the light would stay on and get brighter with increased speed. This year as I've started riding in the dark, the light comes on continuously but then goes off. It then seems to go on and off at random intervals. If I shine a light on the 530, it goes back to daylight flash. Once I take the light away or cover the sensor, it goes back to turning on and off. It doesn't seem regular enough of a period to be a flashing mode.
I even replaced the UT800 thinking it was the light, but I get the same results.
Recently, I've discovered that if I take the RTL515 out of the system, (turn it off), the UT800 works correctly.
