Not shutting off and only sleeping

This has happened to me about 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months or so. I'm done with my ride and ready to shut everything down. I turn off my unit with a long press and then from the 3 choices I'm given I pick "turn off". The next morning when I start up my unit it comes on almost immediately as if it was only in "sleep" mode.

Has anyone else noticed this? I'm sure that there was probably at least one instance where I actually did forget to turn it off but I can't take the blame for it happening so many times.

My only suggestion is that with the silicone cover on mine, sometimes it becomes slightly misaligned and a button push somehow pulls the cover taught and seems to push an unintended button. Also, when I turn it off (I never use sleep mode), I always check to see the on/off ghost symbol as it's shutting down.

At the end of every ride, and after saving and uploading the activity, I reset my 530. (Otherwise I have mid-ride spontaneous restarts.)

Press and hold the power button until it completely restarts. Then shut it down by holding the power button, and selecting 'Power Off'
