Head unit senses power meter but will not connect to powermeter.

When attempting to connect a Stages Dual side crankset to head unit, the head unit will find the crank sensor. When attempting to connect nothing happens. It is like the ANT+ handshake is not here. Bluetooth has been disabled. Thought it might just be the crank power unit and then attempted the same with an older Pioneer Dual arm unit and the same thing. It locates the sensors but will not complete the handshake to connect.

Are you completing the pairing process by adding the sensor after it's been selected for adding?

Yes, and I just get the spinning thingy waiting for it connect but it does not connect.

I have the same problem. My Stages Crank power meter would connect, but give no reading, or recording of the power. Bought a Garmin vector 3/3s and the exact same problem happened. No reading or recording. I made sure to install the latest firmware, but nothing changed. I'm changing the unit to see if the problem is solved.
