power meter dropping issue

About a month ago my Edge 530 began randomly dropping the power meter and not showing any power or cadence data.  I've had the Edge 530 3 years I believe.

This happens on multiple bikes with multiple brands of power meters (don't judge, I troll ebay and FB marketplace for deals), different rides of course.

Brands - Stages, Assioma, Giant PowerPro, same behaviour on each

What will happen is I'll start the ride and see Power and Cadence are sitting at zero.  This was after it said "Power meter found" and asking me to calibrate.

I'll go into Settings - Sensors and look at the power meter and it will say it's Connected, but no data is coming back (on different bikes with different power meters).  Often I'll disable and reenable the power meter.  The Edge 530 will tell me "Power meter found", but still no data transmits.  Often, randomly, several minutes into the ride it will just start magically transmitting power and cadence data.  Sometimes it will stay connected the whole ride, sometimes it will go to zero and come back again a few minutes later.  Different power meters, same Edge 530.

The power meter on each bike is connected by ANT+.  I have an HRM-Pro that's also connected by ANT+ that doesn't drop this whole time.  Why in the world would the Edge be dropping just the power meter?  I'd blame the power meter if it wasn't different ones doing the same behavior.  I would blame the Edge 530, but my HRM-Pro stays connected the whole time.  I could blame the HRM-Pro, but I've been using this combo for several years with no issues.  Any ideas?
