Edge 530 does not download ridewithgps routes

Using the same process as always -- Garmin Connect app open on iPhone -- and select RWGPS route. When selecting Download and Ride I get an error graphic after the 'download.' If I select just Download, it says I can find the route in Courses, but it is in fact not there. Tried downloading .tcx file from computer the usual way but it didn't show up in Courses.

    A couple of possibilities:

    Check that the100 course limit hasn't been reached.

    Check that the first 15 characters of the course name don't match one already on the device

    Thank you. I didn’t know there is a limit, tho I don’t think I had that many. Just assumed it would ‘bump’ older routes. I’ve had some other odd behaviors lately that suggested memory conflicts, so I reset it including user data, which deleted all old routes. Also reset BT and paired again with my phone. Appears to work correctly now.

    If you have somewhere close to 200 recorded rides on the device it can do weird things as well.  To remove recorded routes from the device delete them from the Garmin\Activities folder on the unit. You can also delete routes by deleting them from the Courses folder.
