Edge 530. Loses live track signal after 10/15 min.

Try turning WiFi off on the Edge, it was making my LiveTrack stop.  If that doesn't work try also turning WiFi off on the phone.

It still does not work. I have turned off the wifi of the mobile and the edge but after a few minutes the livetrack still shows "No signal. Trying to reconnect..."

Using GPS+GALILEO

Do your rides take you out of mobile data network coverage?  

Perhaps try GPS only, drop the Galileo.  It's a random suggestion, but you never know.  (I use GPS only (USA location) and everything works fine, so I've no experience with Galileo.)

bummer.  I'm not sure then.  I have experience flaky live track in the past, but mine more or less works as expected now.  I seem to recall some iphone connectivity issues with the Edge unit when the phone goes idle or something like that.  Does this seem like a possibility?

ewarnerusa might be on to something with the phone.  Part of my routine is that I always sync the Edge to the GC app on the phone before starting the ride.  Then I lock the scree without closing GC so I know it is running in the background, then I start the ride on the Edge.  Perhaps this is also part of my accidental success with LiveTrack.  

Thanks for the answers but it still doesn't work .... I have contacted garmin support and they don't know how to give me a solution either. If it is solved I will post it here.
