Strava Live Segments

Hello

I have a Edge 530 and i have issue with strava live segments during a ride planned with route.

I create my route in strava, i starred it and it synchronise automatically with GC and my edge 530.

I also starred segment in strava, and i see them in my edge 530.

But when i ride i don't see them et and i can't challenge them.

I read a lot of topics about this problem but i don't know if it is normal or not.

In the strava assistance i see that live segment is not compatible with route but i read other topics that it say it'is possible

Hi 4166188 could you check to see if Garmin segments are enabled instead of Strava segments? If Strava segments are enabled, try to reset your segment preference by switching from Strava segments to Garmin then back.

This is done in the Garmin Connect (web version):

Go to https://connect.garmin.com and sign-in.
Enter the dashboard (hover mouse in the left hand tray if dashboard is not immediately visible).
Locate the Segments widget or add widget to your dashboard -Custom Dashboards in Garmin Connect
Click on the gear icon, select Use Strava Segments.

My segments are on the route nevertheless. Ans it's not working ...

I think it's not a hardware issue. It's a software bug

Sorry, I'm unable to read in French! Another possibility to consider is whether the segments have a downhill loss in grade of .25% or more? For safety reasons, Strava blocks these types of segments from being sent over. Sounds as though you did a bit of research/troubleshooting on your own prior to posting. If your live segments do not have a downhill loss, Strava is connected to Garmin, and you've ensured the segments are defined within the route etc, your best bet is to contact Garmin Product Support or Strava directly for further troubleshooting. If it is indeed a bug, they can create a case to investigate further.

I have the same issue since yesterday. It worked fine for me before. All i had to do is to star (add to favorites) the strava segment before I star my strava route. When it worked, you could see the segment start and finish as a point in the garmin map. Now they don't appear anymore.

How do you typically sync your Edge? If from your mobile, try removing and re-adding your Edge to the Garmin Connect app as your first step. If that made no difference, disconnect/reconnect Strava from the app. If you require further troubleshooting, please contact your Garmin Product Support team so they may investigate further and create a case if necessary.

@danielgarcia. I can see the start and end point on the map. But the dedicated screen do not appear and i can't see my progression against my PR in the segment, like i had before.

I try to delete my device from GC, i disconnect the link with Strava and i sync with Garmin Express but i still have the same problem
