“Send to Device” not an option?

I’ve just tried loading a .gpx file onto my Garmin Edge 530 and, for some reason, the choice of “send to device” isn’t appearing as an option. Anyone know why this is?

How are you trying to put a GPX file on the device?

You can plug the device into a computer with a USB cable and copy the GPX file into the Garmin/NewFiles folder on the device. Then it will show up in the course list on the device.

If your trying to upload from Garmin Connect, are you still in "editing mode", if so, you need to "Save" the course first and then the option "send to device appears".

I have just used it myself in the past hour to alter a course and it is working ok to upload a "GPX" to a 530.
