Posting a new query as the existing threads are old or somewhat difefrent. When switching on the 530 I get a little activity from the screen (appears faint blue) and later a few beeps. I tried a reboot many times by holding the on/off key for 10 - 20 seconds. The 530 switches down and sometimes restarts but instantly shows the barely lit screen. No letters or errors appear. I conected it to USB and it is recognized. I removed the Garmin/New Folder as was suggested in another thread. No improvement. I managed to install the map update as well, though the system still does not power on fully.
Any suggestions?
