Help to upload European maps onto my device

I bought my Garmin Edge 530 in South Africa, it is installed with African maps. I am now back in the UK and need to download the European maps. When I go to do this on Garmin express, it says I do not have enough memory. How can I delete the African maps from my device to free up the space?

1061869 the Edge 530 has enough memory to hold just one regional map at a time. To create enough space to install a downloadable map, follow the instructions in Garmin Express Error When Installing Maps on an Edge or Watch
