Firmware 9.73 and CIQ Data Fields

Firmware 9.73 seemed to have introduced issues with CIQ data fields.

I was at my limit of CIQ Data Fields (10) in 2 profiles. Once I upgraded to this firmware, most of my CIQ Data Fields stopped working (and I was hit with constant reboots). Reboots resolved now but to get all CIQ Data Fields working, I had to remove some until what I had left started working. I worked this out from the fact my INDOOR profile had no issue and I realised it doesn't have the Weather and Traffic CIQ Data Fields I use. I first thought the issue was with one of those 2 CIQ Data Fields, but through more testing, it seems to simply be a number of CIQ Data Fields in use.

This feature of the firmware:

Improved CIQ data fields so that copies of the same field don't limit adding unique fields

...seems to be related. I was excited to see this improvement so I could add in more CIQ Data Fields. But with this firmware, the limit is less than the previous 10, for me.

Any else with this issue?

    I have no issues using CIQ Data Fields with Firmware 9.73, I use two of them that well exceeds 10 data fields, SPH Graph which has around 17 data fields and one I created myself using DIY (something) and it has 24 data fields and every data field works perfectly as should.

    But I never connect my 530 to my phone so I do not have weather or traffic etc or do I use any power data fields.

    I am not following you. A data field uses 1 data field. The data field may comprise of many, what looks like, data fields but it still only 1 data field. I have 1 like this what is used on the maps page. It is (single) data field that provides 6 fields of info.

    Previous to firmware 9.73, one could only have 10 CIQ data fields in a single profile. Even if you only had 5 CIQ data fields and used each one twice (on different pages typically), you could only have 10 in total. I hit this limit and error message on 2 of my profiles. Annoying but #firstworldproblems Firmware 9.73 looks to have raised that limit, if you use a CIQ data field more than once. Still limited to 10 in total, but 10 UNIQUE CIQ data fields, not 10 single data fields in total. So in my example above, if you had 5 CIQ data fields, you could use them as much as you wanted as it still only counted as 5 CIQ data fields.

    So moving to 9.73 you tried to use more (duplicate) data fields, more than 10 single data fields, without issue? What about not changing that count, you didn't have any issues with existing CIQ data fields on firmware 9.73? Were you at the upper limit of 10 prior to firmware 9.73 upgrade?

    I'm with you now, what you refer to as CIQ Data Fields, I relate to as CIQ data pages, and a CIQ data page is made up from data fields.

    So basically you are saying that you cannot have more than 10 CIQ Data pages spread over 2 activity profiles.

    I think the limit is 10 CIA Data Fields per profile. I ran into this limit on 2 separate profiles. Firmware 9.73 changes this, but I think in doing so, introduced a bug around CIQ data fields. But maybe it is just my setup Shrug tone1‍
