Auto Calculated FTP from Edge device does not sync to Garmin Watch

Devices:

Edge 530 Firmware 9.73

Instinct 2 Firmware 11.16 -> Set as Primary Training Device

Whenever I had an auto-calculated new FTP on my Edge 530 the new FTP value does not trickle down to my Instinct 2.

Anyone have this problem also?
