Pinned RWGPS route/course synch, unexpected issue

I love this feature... Make a route in RWGPS, pin it, and it magically appears on my Edge 530.  It works great, exactly what I want.  BUT...  It also concurrently downloads the route to my Instinct watch, which I do not want.  I'm posting here instead of the Instinct watch forum, as I'd expect there to be more RWGPS knowledge here.

Does anyone know of a way to only allow these pinned routes (courses) to show up on the Edge and not the Instinct watch?  Thanks!

    See my post two above. You need to remove/disable Garmin Courses sync. I provided a link to it. The ridewithgps IQ app is all you need.

    Thanks  and .  I acknowledge that you've both provided enough that I can figure this out, I was just also acknowledging my laziness to date!  I need to get motivated enough to download the apps and play with it, I'm sure it's no worse than creating routes or setting up CIQ data fields.  I'm currently on the disabled list with an injured knee, so less motivated until I'm more on the mend.
