My Edge 530 is losing it's satellites really fast, sometimes after only minutes. Getting a GPS position outdoors is not a problem, also the Edge finds satellites pretty fast when the 'satellites lost' message pops up. Big problem is that the Edge wont recognize that it lost all its satellites, instead assumes full gps signal (all bars green) and the track goes like crazy when navigating. The message "off course" comes up really fast when navigating, but not "satellites lost". It's a pity because I lose about 10% of my kilometers on average when riding. The displayed track in garmin connect is just a big mess.
I tried everything mentioned in the forums: reset the device, just gps and no gps+glonass, all sensors off, waiting for full gps signal before riding, synching with Garmin Express and my phone. Nothing helps.
Side note: I got the device from Garmin as a replacement for my other Edge 530, which had the display bug. That was 2 weeks ago and the replacement Edge never got the GPS thing right.
