Problem: "Sensor software update" cause heart rate fall out

When starting a trip, activating my Edge 530 and choosing a route that I loaded to the device, the screen said; “new sensor software detected – do you want to install”. Accepting this the installation started, but was interrupted as the device said, “Cannot connect”. Since then, my heart rate sensor doesn’t work. The device keeps searching for the heart rate sensor, find it, connect, and get date for some seconds and then loos connection just to start search again… repeating all the trip. The devise is updated from Garmin Connect with newest software (9.40), but as I remember, when the devise said “Sensor Software” it was a version 4.xx?  I cannot find anything on this in Garmin user manuals. Any suggestions?
