Edge 530 showing power and cadence when i stop pedaling

I have Favero Assioma Duo’s connected to my Garmin Edge 530 and whenever i stop pedaling the garmin still shows power and cadence for about 5-10 seconds before it goes to 0. What is causing this and how do i fix it?

4800109 I'd first recommend confirming that both your Edge and pedals are on the latest software.

The Edge will just be receiving and displaying whatever is sent to it. I'd recommend switching the connection type that you are using as well to see if this helps. If you are paired via BT you can switch to ANT+ and vice versa.
