units statute metric

New Edge 530 user here. I set the Settings/Units to "Statute", but on my data screens the speed is displayed in meters/sec m/s. I have flailed away at all the menus I can find, but to no avail - my displays are "stuck" on m/s. Any ideas? thanks, paul

Unless you are looking at vertical speed the speed is only reported in either MPH or KMH.

Settings -> System -> Units

Could you take a screen shot and share that? What language is the unit set to, I'm wondering if could be a translation error?

Well maybe mh really is "miles per hour", but on the ride, I was cruising along at maybe 12mph, but the display said "5.8mh". Confused

"mh" is MPH and the data field will show "ft" as you have not yet started riding, once you get going it will change to "yds" and then to "m" if I recall off top of my head without going for a ride.

Yes mh is miler per hour.

Distance starts with feet when set to Statute and then switches to miles after you pass 512 feet.

If you are using an external speed sensor check that the wheel size is correctly set.
