"Gear Ratio" Data Field

On my Edge 530 (fw ver. 9.40), I have displayed the data fields "Gear Ratio" and "Gears".

On my new bike with Di2 Ultregra, the "Gear Ratio" data field does not work properly; it just shows "0.0". See first attached image. The "Gears" data field displays properly.

However, everything works properly on my older bike, also with Di2. Both "Gear Ratio" and "Gears" display properly. See second attached image.

Looking for an explanation of why the difference. Thanks.

    On the pairing for the new bike is the gear selection set to automatic or  manual?

    If it is set to automatic then I suspect that the gear sizing has not been configured on the Di2 system. You will need to use the e-tube app to connect and set the size of the front rings and rear cassette.

    Alternatively you can switch off the automatic gear sizing on the Edge and chose the gear sizes from the preset list or enter your own values.

    No surprise that aweatherall had the answer, of course. Yes, I had gear selection set to automatic, but the gear sizing had not been configured on the Shimano e-tube app. Once that was done, all works – I can now see the proper gear ratio.
