Garmin Edge GroupTrack problem

Garmin Edge Grouptrack - user locations are lagging.
My device is garmin edge 530. I have no problems activating grouptrack feature.
Some users project accurate position (edge 130 & edge830). Other users project lagged position (edge530 & fenix watch).
By lagged position, it means when a user is actually in front of me, at the map it is showing that user is behind me.
In fact, my wife is using a garmin 130 before without this problem, however after changing her device to 530, this problem occurs.
What could have caused this? Does anyone know?
  • Maybe it's just a size/resolution issue?  You can change the level of detail that your maps project.

  • Whilst everyone is moving, position errors of up to 200m or so relative to your own could be explained by the time interval between updates (15-30 sec according to the Group Track article in the Garmin Support Centre) and rider speeds. That error should disappear when everyone is stopped for about 30 seconds or so.

    Larger or persistent errors may mean that there are issues with GPS sensitivity, Bluetooth connections, App/Phone settings or Phone signals.
