Courses are no longer ordered in chronological order

Courses which are synchronised to my device are no longer sorted in chronological order. The end up in random order, and when I modify a course it is no longer refreshed after syncing.

Check the setting for the course sort order

Menu -> Navigation -> Courses -> Course Options -> Sort

Of course, but lately it takes the file creation date instead of the date the file modification date.

This does not work any longer with courses that are sync'ed from Komoot. When I delete a course in Komoot, very old courses appear at the top of the list in Garmin. I would expect old courses to stay at the bottom of the list.
